• Microsoft Office comes pre-loaded on WIT issued devices

How Do I Use It?

• Staff/Faculty:
  • Help Desk will activate when you pick up your device
• Students: 
• When first opening an Office product. You will need to activate the license by signing in with your WIT issued email address and email password
• Go to the "launchpad"  and select Microsoft Word  Follow the prompts to get started
• When asked to “sign in” you will use your my.witcc.edu email address. (firstname.lastname@my.witcc.edu)
• Enter your password for your school email.  If you are logging in for the first time your password will be in the format of Flmmddyyyywitcc
• You will then be taken through Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for accessing your email and activating your Office License

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

• Select country and enter in your phone number with the area code.  Then select the method of contact. Then select next

• You will then receive a text (or call) and you will enter in the number that you are sent.  Click next to finish setting up MFA
• Once your license is activated select “Start Using Word"
