Set up AirPods with your Mac and Windows Devices
Information on how to set up your AirPods on different devices
Instructions for Windows
Hold button on the back of your AirPods until they turn light red.
open *Settings* on your windows computer.
Go to Bluetooth devices, click on "add device".
When it asks what device type, click on Bluetooth.
It should scan for hardware, the name of the device should be AirPods or "Your Name's AirPods" and should have a headphone symbol.
Click connect, after connected you should be able to hear sounds. I would suggest opening a
YouTube
video and seeing if you can hear sound.
Instructions for Apple OS
On your Mac, choose System Settings from the Apple menu , then click Bluetooth.
Make sure that Bluetooth is on.
Put both AirPods in the charging case and open the lid.
