  • Email signatures need to be standardized across the college. Please change your email signature to reflect only the information included in the example below. No logos or graphics of any kind. You can use a link to our website or services like Appointed. Please double-check to make sure your font is readable and professional. Do not put other employees’ personal information in your signature.

Out of Office Replies

  • Out of the office replies continue to be a cyber security risk. We ask you carefully decide to use an out of the office. The College does not require you to use them. Please keep these ideas in mind.

  • Limit these to long periods of time you will be away from the office. No need to use on a Friday during the summer closures.
  • Do not put specifics of dates, times, and locations in your reply.
  • Do not use your usual signature block when using an out of the office. Instead, please just put your name as the signature.
  • Provide information to the College main numbers or Department phone numbers and/or department emails as who the person can contact in your absence.
